CrossFit and interval running

I’ve always hated running 5 km. etc……. but interval running is different. It is social and improves your running shape extremely fast.

I thought my strength in CrossFit was semi-long medcons, but I was wrong! I’ve always won or made crazy results in running-WODs in CrossFit competitions.

Whats the secret? My weekly interval running team!

We’re a lot of crossfitters with different backgrounds (military sports, long distance running, football, american football etc.) who weekly meet in “Dyrehaven” and run 15 intervals initiated by a 2 km. warm-up and a 1 km. cool down. The route is appr. 7,5 km. in total. The intervals are between 90-200 m and cover all terrain, from short hill sprints to longer and more flat sprints.

Running intervals with a group makes you push yourself even harder.

The running session lasts 1:15 hour.
